Maracyn® is a specifically formulated broad-spectrum antibiotic renowned for its efficacy against various pathogenic bacteria linked to ornamental fish ailments. Engineered for gradual and thorough dissolution in water, it predominantly targets gram-positive pathogenic organisms.

This medication offers relief from bacterial infections like body fungus, bacterial gill disease, and popeye. Additionally, it aids in combating mouth fungus, open lesions, hemorrhagic septicemia, and slime disease. Indications of potential bacterial infection may manifest as clamped fins, swollen eyes, labored or accelerated breathing, irregular coloration, alterations in swimming patterns, or tendencies to hide in corners. It’s advisable to seek guidance from a veterinarian or fish specialist for accurate diagnosis of disease-causing agents and suitable treatment modalities.

Prompt treatment is imperative for all suspected bacterial infections.
