While disease treatment in a quarantine tank remains optimal, circumstances may necessitate administering MetroPlex directly into the display aquarium. Vigilance is crucial during treatment, with close observation of tank inhabitants recommended. Be prepared to conduct water changes and introduce fresh activated carbon as needed. Once the treatment regimen concludes, MetroPlex can be effortlessly eliminated using activated filter carbon, leaving no residual traces in the tank’s substrate or filter media.

Dosage Directions:

Dosing in Water:

– Remove all invertebrates, as they are highly sensitive to medication.
– Deactivate UV filters, ozone filters, and remove chemical filtration media.
– Administer 1-2 measures (included) per every 40 liters (10 US gallons) of water.
– Repeat dosage every 48 hours for up to 3 weeks or until symptoms subside.

Dosing in Food:

– Feed the medicated food mix (recipe provided below) daily until the infection clears or up to 3 weeks. The medicated food can be stored refrigerated or frozen between feedings.

Medicated Food Mix Recipe:

– 1 scoop MetroPlex
– 1 scoop Focus
– 1 tablespoon of food (preferably pellets or frozen food)
– A few drops of water (if using dry food)
