Description
Fritz MetroCleanse offers a safe and potent solution as both an antibiotic and anti-parasitic treatment, targeting numerous prevalent protozoan and bacterial infections including freshwater and saltwater Ich, Hexamita, and Oodinium. It effectively addresses internal parasitic and bacterial infections as well. Safe for use in medicated food mixes within systems housing invertebrates, Fritz MetroCleanse preserves beneficial bacteria and remains non-toxic even in cases of overdose.
Usage Instructions:
For Broadcast Method: Prior to dosing, remove all invertebrates. Administer 1 packet of MetroCleanse per 20 gallons (76 L) every 48 hours until symptoms vanish, for a maximum of ten treatments.
For Feeding Method: Mix 1 packet of MetroCleanse per tablespoon of regular food (add water if food is dry). Administer the medicated food mix daily until symptoms disappear or for up to three weeks. Store any leftover mix in the refrigerator or freezer between dosing/feeding. No filtration adjustments required.
Upon symptom resolution, reintroduce chemical filtration and resume normal use of protein skimmers and feeding routines. Adjust the temperature back to normal.
For optimal outcomes, employ MetroCleanse in a quarantine tank. During treatment, remove activated carbon and ion-exchange resins, and halt the operation of skimmers and UV sterilizers. Avoid water changes if feasible.
MetroCleanse can be utilized at full strength with scaleless fish. If fish are eating, feed sparingly during treatment. There are no contraindications; MetroCleanse can be used alongside other products and medications.
When using the medicated food method, MetroCleanse is safe for invertebrates, including corals, snails, shrimp, clams, and other crustaceans and mollusks. In the event of overdose, eliminate the medication using MaxOut Pro or similar carbon-based media.
MetroCleanse can be effectively removed from the system by adding carbon. It remains potent against internal and external infections regardless of the dosing method.
Active Ingredient: Metronidazole
